Windscreen Chip Repairs

“That tiny crack in my windscreen will be fine” you tell yourself - but that seemingly insignificant chip can slowly spread across your field of vision and turn into a potentially dangerous crack.

Especially in cold weather. Moisture gets into the chip and a drop in temperature the moisture will expand and the only give is the already chipped screen and, "Crack" .

"Prevention is better than cure" you have heard a million times so let us fix that chip and save you time & money in the long term.

Also worth being aware that If the maximum damage of your chip or crack is 10mm and in your field of vision, it could cause you to fail an MOT test.

Please note :

Any chips larger than 25mm (approx the size of a £1 coin),or any chips within 7cm of the edge of the windscreen CANNOT be repaired.

This is due to the structural integrity of the windscreen.

A new windscreen will eventually be required.

Please ensure that you the damage you have are not within these parameters before you contact us as should we attend and find it is, we'll be charging the deposit required and maybe the whole fee depending on circumstances, time and distance travelled.
