So you've had a look at our site, decided that we can help you with you vehicle repairs and wondering where do we go now.

This being a rural area you can appreciate that there's many area's of no phone coverage and with calls dropping out or no connection, messages work the best.
We're not hopping around in the middle of the road with an arm out stretched shouting down the phone, "Hello, hello, Can you hear me?" in the vain attempt to get a signal.
We'll get back to you as soon as possible and definitely the same day, (even if we are working all day in an area of no coverage) .

Once we're in contact with each other we can arrange a time and date that suits us both where we can attend the location of your vehicle and on our visit we can make a detailed assessment of the damage and subsequent repairs needed.
From here we can offer you an accurate and competitive quote in writing and discuss dates we have available to carry out work.
There is no obligation for you to accept any quotes we provide.
We work with a fully licenced and regulated 3rd party company who could possibly provide you with the option to pay by instalments on all repairs over a certain price bracket should you wish to spread the cost over a few months.
We'd have asked you ( see below on contact details) where possible to provide us with a couple of photographs of the damage but these are generally to give an idea if it is damage we can rectify.
Heavy collision or structural damage would need the use of specialised heavy equipment and other skilled professionals. A service we do not offer but happy to recommend.

Unfortunately we cannot and will not give an exact quote for repairs on just viewing a photograph. There are so many variables involved with a repair.
​
The exception to us arranging an "assessment visit" would be for headlight restorations and windscreen repairs.
We can just arrange a time, date and location. We'll still need a few photographs of the areas first.

​​​Regrettably we do charge a £15 fee for an "assessment visit".
We can appreciate that here you may think, "Knew there was a catch"
but before you click off and walk away, let us explain.
​
1) The £15 is 100% deducted from any quotes accepted, work is completed and final payment made. The deduction will be recorded in writing on your quote.
​
2) Should we make a visit and the damage is beyond our expertise and we have not made that clear after viewing your photos, that's our mistake. We take the hit and you will be refunded the £15 and receipt given.
​
3) Should we not be able to attend to make an assessment visit due to things beyond our control and another date cannot be made we will refund the £15.
​
4) Should we agree on a quote, a date is booked in for work and we cannot attend due to un-foreseen circumstances, (illness, vehicle breakdown), and we cannot re-book another time and date for repairs to commence we will refund the £15. *Please note that rescheduling due to poor weather conditions does not apply.

5) The "Assessment visit fee" will need to be received before we attend and locations unless specifically agreed otherwise. Receipts always given.
​
If you have a change of mind , of which is not a problem, and have already paid the £15 "Assessment Visit Fee", refunds are more than welcome ONLY if you contact us and cancel in writing, (text or e-mail will suffice. We will not accept verbal or answer machine messages as proof) before 6am of the day the visit is arranged. Any time after we may already be on the road with the day planned out.( Specialist cases the exception).

All refunds with be sent at the soonest opportunity up to 24 hours and receipts always provided.
​
In the case of Headlight Restorations or Windscreen Chips the £15 will act as a deposit. It is not refunded if the windscreen chip beyond repair as explained on the Windscreen Chip Repair page.

Exceptions to the "Assessment Visit Fee".
Should we be working in an area that you are not miles away from or on route to a job, we are more than happy to visit at no cost.
We are already travelling and our time and fuel would be covered for the day.
We will always try and arrange this if possible.
​
Sadly we have had to go down the road of "Assessment Visit Fees"/ Deposits for work under £100 as there have been too many people in the past who have booked us for a visit and on arrival there’s no answer, they have gone out shopping knowing we were due or just wanted to pick our brains about how to do the repair with no intention of using us at all.
​
It's not unheard of it taking almost an hour travelling each way from one end of the County to the other costing us wasted time and fuel.
We just can't and won't do that anymore.
​
More and more reputable businesses , big and small, are charging call out fees to minimise lost costs as it's become such an issue.
​
It also shows us the people who are happy to pay a "fee" are serious about the services we provide and makes us feel more comfortable working with you and building a professional relationship.
